Manage Existing Surveys:
• Closed Surveys - Why does my survey always appear closed to respondents?
When a respondent clicks on a link to your survey, they may see a "Survey is Closed" notice for one of the following reasons. Note that even if your survey is set to "Open" on the Manage Surveys page, it may still appear closed to respondents for one of the reasons below.

1. The survey is set to 'closed' on the Manage Surveys page. If the button next to your survey says 'Closed', click on it to change it to 'Open". Click here for ore information on why surveys need to be opened and closed.

2. You are using a free account and you have reached the maximum monthly responses. Free accounts include 15 total responses per month across all surveys with some additional responses included to account for survey developer previews and testing. Should you need to handle more responses, you may upgrade your account to a paid subscription for only $20 per month from the Manage Account page.

3. You have set a survey end date or time on the Survey Options page and that date or time has passed. You can get to the survey options page by clicking on "Survey Options" in the title bar of the survey while editing it or by clicking on the Options icon for the survey on the Manage Surveys page.

4.You have set a maximum number or responses for your survey on the Survey Options page and that number has been exceeded. You can get to the survey options page by clicking on "Survey Options" in the title bar of the survey while editing it or by clicking on the Options icon for the survey in the Manage Surveys page.

• Opening / closing surveys - how and why?
In order to preserve the integrity of your survey, it is necessary to close the survey before editing it and making changes to survey options. Opening and closing surveys is done on the Manage Surveys page. For each survey, a button will show the current status - either 'Open' or 'Closed'. Simply click on that button to change the status. NOTE: Remember to re-open your survey after making any changes or your respondents won't be able to complete your survey.

• Clearing survey responses
You can permanently delete all responses to your survey form the Manage Surveys page. To do so, click on the button in the "Clear" column for the survey you want to delete all responses for. You can also delete responses one by one from the detail reporting page.

• Deleting surveys
You can permanently delete a survey via the Manage Surveys page. To do so, click on the button in the "Delete" column for the survey you want to delete. NOTE: deleting a survey will delete both the responses as well as the survey itself so make sure that is what you intend to do before proceeding.

• Setting survey options
A variety of survey options including response options, appearance settings and security settings. can be configured using the Survey Options page. You can get to the Survey Options page by clicking on the Options icon for the survey on the Manage Surveys page.
